Adult Classes
At Stevie Ray's, improv is for everybody. Whether you aspire to perform improv comedy onstage or you are just looking for a fun activity to meet new people and learn new skills, we've got an improv class for you.
Everyone starts with Beginning Improv where you learn basic improv skills, concepts, and fun games. This eight-week improv course culminates with you performing in a comedy improv showcase for your friends and family.
If you want more, you move into Intermediate Improv, where you train with the same teacher and classmates. This culminates with another recital at Stevie Ray's Comedy Cabaret.
Then it is on to Advanced Improv, where you learn higher level skills for thinking on the spot and performing well on stage or in life.
After completing these three levels, if you are hooked you can join the Performance Improv class. This is an ongoing course that focuses on your individual goals. Some of our best troupe members have come from this class! Others see benefits off stage, so they want to keep their skills sharp for life. Once you enroll, you can train as long as you like.

NEW IMPROV CLASSES
Beginning Improv
This class is for beginners. Whether you want to perform comedy improv or are interested in sharpening skills for your personal or professional life, this is the class for you. Improv classes are the same at either location.

Intermediate Improv
After you finish your first eight-week improv course, this class takes you to the next level. Learn more fun techniques and gain new skills in improvisation.

Performance Improv
You want an improv class to continue sharpening your communication skills, self-confidence, and speaking ability. You may not be interested in becoming a comedy improv performer, but you can still participate in our fabulous Improv recitals.
Pre-requisite: Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Improv (or the equivalent)
Eight-week course: $195.00.
