BEGINNING I IMPROV
This six-week class is for beginners. Learn basic skills and concepts in a fun, hands-on workshop environment. Whether you want to perform improv, or are interested in sharpening skills for your personal or professional life, this is the class for you!

This six-week class is those who have completed Beginning I. Continue to build your skills to use for personal or professional growth. This class culminates with you performing in a showcase for your friends and family at our cabaret at the famous Chanhassen Dinner Theatres.

BEGINNING STAND-UP COMEDY
Don’t let that photo up there be the only mic you ever perform in front of! In this four-session course, you will learn the techniques of writing comedy material, plus the secrets that professional comedians use when performing for an audience. Complete the experience with an exciting recital so you can show off your new skills for family and friends.

SKETCH COMEDY WRITING & PERFORMANCE
If you love Saturday Night Live or Monty Python’s Flying Circus, here is your chance to get your creative, crazy ideas on paper, and on the stage. This six-week course teaches the techniques of comedy sketch writing across the genres. The class culminates with your sketch(s) being performed for a live audience at a showcase at Stevie Ray’s Comedy Cabaret.
