Brett Williams first joined Stevie Ray’s in 2000 as an improv student. He became a troupe member two years later and has been bringing joy to audiences ever since.

On June 4th, Brett was performing at a high school graduation party and collapsed onstage. He was taken to Fairview Southdale Hospital where he was diagnosed with a severe stroke and brain bleed. He was placed under sedation to help in his treatment, and he remains sedated now.

Brett and his wife, Diane, both work in the hospitality and entertainment industry, which means if you don’t work, you don’t get paid. Stevie Ray’s, the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, and Brett’s family-in-the-arts will perform a special fundraising show to help with his medical care and recovery.
